TERM CLASSES
Cooking Classes by KinderChefs is an exciting, healthy and TASTY way to teach your budding chef the importance of healthy food choices for life!!
Run by a qualified TEACHER and CHEF, KinderChefs not only embraces ALLERGY FRIENDLY recipes and ORGANIC* produce, it strives to teach you and your child how to live a healthy and stimulating culinary lifestyle!!
KinderChefs lessons are not 'just cooking'! Each lesson combines not only the recipe, but singing, circle time (where the theme ingredient is leanrt about) a mystery bag item from home, scrapbooking as well as sharing.
KinderChefs is Education! It is educating the child about a recipe, methodology, and practical cooking skills. It is also educating the child about produce. Where it comes from, how it is grown, how it is harvested and eventually brought to the kitchen. Each theme ingredient has a corrosponding story about it (eg Fruit and The Very Hungry Catapiller). It is also educating the parent/caregiver! Each lesson mum, garndparent, uncle, auntie or friend is shown HOW to make healthy and delicious food for their little ones and they go home armed with the recipe, know-how and confidence to make it when they themselves are in the kitchen!
Term Classes for 2.5 to 5 yrs.
School holiday classes for 2.5 to 12 yrs.
